Re: Nonconforming light fixtures
Dear Ms.Bernhardt:
One of the many functions of Code Enforcement is to provide for the enforcement of the Town of Vail
Municipal Codes.
It has come to our attention that the above-described property may be in violation of the Town of Vail
Municipal Codes as follows:
Reported Violation(s): Your light fixtures, located on several exterior walls, are varying in color
of light and bleeding light onto adjacent properties.
I have included a copy of the applicable sections from the Town of Vail Development Standards
Handbook. A possible solution may be to simply determine if the bulbs used are correctly sized for these
fixtures. Another solution may be to replace them with bulbs which would be allowed under the current
Standards.
Please remedy this situation within 30 calendar days from receipt of this letter. Failure to do so will result
in a summons being issued.
Your prompt attention regarding this matter will be greatly appreciated and will help assure that Vail
