Re: Illegal signage
Dear Mr. Madigan:
One of the many functions of Code Enforcement is to provide for the enforcement of the
Town of Vail Municipal Codes.
It has come to our attention that the above-described property may be in violation of the
Town of Vail Municipal Codes as follows:
Reported Violation(s): You have been placing illegal signs in front of this
location on Town of Vail property. Section 11-4B-4 (DAILY SPECIAL
BOARDS) of the Town Code states, in part, that:
Daily special boards shall be permitted under the following:
B. Size: No greater than four (4)square feet.
E. Location: Affixed to approved display box or attached to the front
fa(ade of the building.
We are asking that you remove all temporary signs. If you wish to erect any additional
signage, you will need to submit a complete application. Please remedy this situation
within 15 calendar days from receipt of this letter. Failure to do so will result in a
summons being issued.
Your prompt attention regarding this matter will be greatly appreciated and will help
assure that Vail continues to be the desirable and pleasant resort community for which we
