Sequence:
conventional devioes with new addressable devices, (will be accomplished per loop). Install new
devices in existing bedrooms that are not protected at this time,(will be field located with fire
department aPproval).
F Replace the notification appliances on a circuit by drcuit basis starting with the lower level. Each
circuit will be removed one at a time, the wire metered for integrity, the fidd devices installed and
the circuit tested. Install new devices in locations where needed that are not now covered.
) Reconfigure circuit modules in panel.
) Test and inspect system.
F Submit inspection reports

Notes:1 Existing horns shall be replaced with horn strobes. (Refer to cutsheet

Wiring for notification circuits shall utilize the existing wiring. (14 and 16 awg THHN )
All notification circuits shall be CI-ASS B wiring loops.
Notification circuits shall be synchronized to prevent visual epileptic seizures.
Wiring for addressable SLC circuits shall utilize the existing wiring(14 and 16 aurg THHN )
All initiation circuits will be CLASS B wiring loops. Multiple loop connections shall be terminated
at the fire alarm control panel.
Existing pull stations will be replaced with double action pull stations. (Refer to cut sheet)
All pull stations shall be point addressable.
Pneumatic Heat detectors shall be replaced with addressable electronic heat detectors
Spacing of initiating devices will utilize existing locations. :
Smoke detectors shall be located a minimum of 3'from any air supplyor return.
