The framing sketch SXI is based on the information given to us by Mr. Lewis. It is our nnderstanding that the existing floor framing was constructed using 9 l/2" BCI6000 E1.7 joists @ 16" supported by wood beams/posts and an existing steel beam. The floor joists and beams are supported using Simpson hangers where possible, bearing on posts, and on the bottom flange of the existing steel beam. Some comections used Timberlok screws in combination with Simpson L90 clips. The floor was sheathed with3/4" APA floor sheaihing. Based on the infomration conveyed to us, the existing floor framing is acceptable and no additional modifications are required.
