The Town of Vail asbestos abatement program is in addition to the State of Colorado's regu- iations. It is your responsibility to be in compliance with the State. ANY building projects disturbing more than these threshold levels of buildin aterials require asbestos testing : One- and Two-Family Dwellings: 30 square feet All Others: 160 square feet /oot -4 Asbestos testing results must be provided with your application for a building permit. Tests which identiff POSpVE resul6 at more than 1olo require abatement by a State-certified and Vail-registered abate- ment contractor.
