HomeMy WebLinkAboutBuffehr Creek Resubdivision Lot 39 Sign Program Letter February 25, 2014 Margaret Hanlon 225 Wall Street, Suite 205 Vail, CO 81657 Re: Buffehr Creek Resubdivision, Lot 39, 2077 North Frontage Road West, Vail, CO 81657 Dear Mrs. Hanlon, I am writing in regard to the property you represent at 2077 North Frontage Road West—the Brandess Building. In October of 2013, concerns were raised about the lack of a sign program when Rocky Mountain Reprographics had applied for a business identification sign. We met on site on October 18, 2013, to discuss what details could and should be part of a sign program. I then created a draft sign program that expressed such details graphically and in writing. I have tried to firm up those details with you several times over the last four months, but with no success, nor any prospect of doing so. Please contact me by email (JBatcheller@vailgov.com) or phone (970-479-2440) no later than Friday, March 7, 2014, to let me know you have received this letter. We can discuss any questions you may have and determine when the situation can be addressed. If I do not receive a reply from you by March 7, 2014, the Community Development Department will no longer process sign applications for tenants of the Brandess Building. Additionally, Code Enforcement will be notified of the two signs installed without permits by Hairs 2 Vail and Rocky Mountain Reprographics. Those tenants will be required to remove their signs, having no replacement options available. The Town of Vail looks forward to resolving this issue with you. Please let me know if you are no longer the primary contact for this matter and who I need to talk to instead. Thank you. Sincerely, Joe Batcheller Planner I Town of Vail Cc: file
