RE: Prohibited sign at Eye Pieces, Village Center
Dear Mr. Barry,
My name is Joe Batcheller, and I am a Planner for the Town of Vail. I am writing this letter to
inform you of zoning violation which is present on your store at Village Center, 122 E. Meadow
Drive. An prohibited sign fashioned as the Eye Pieces logo has been erected on the white
stucco wall adjacent to the entrance. Pursuant to Section 11-6-3, Business Signs, Vail Town
Code, your store exceeds the allowed number of signs:
A. Business Identification Signs:
1. Business identification signs in sign district 1 (SD 1):
a. Number: Each business shall be allowed one business identification sign per public
entrance.
The Town requests that you remove this sign by Monday, November 17, 2014. Should said sign
not be removed by the date above, the Town may pursue the issuance of a citation for the
