WRITTEN APPROVAL LETTER
ADDENDUM
I, Louise Funk, as authority of the association for the property located at 2014
West Gore Creek Drive (The Hamlet), and subsequent to the Joint Property Owner
Written Approval Letter I signed dated August ,28, 2017, provide this letter as
confirmation of the position of the Hamlet Homeowners' Association with respect
to the railing proposed for the new and old decks on the above referenced plans.
As the project was developed in the early 1970's, there are many design elements
that are now outdated and not consistent with today's standards. The existing
deck railing system is one of those design features. The HOA has approved the
new railing system proposed as it modernizes the look of the property and is
consistent with other deck railings in the neighborhood. It is the intent of the HOA
to adopt the approved railing system as the standard for the project going
forward.
At the time Townhouses 1 and 2 were in need of a new roof, the HOA adopted a
new standard roof for that installation. In the future, all new roofs will be
required to conform to the new specifications. Similarly, any modifications to
existing decks -will be required to conform to the new standard deck railing
system.
