A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO THE CHAMONIX VAIL
OWNERS ASSOCIATION; AND SETTING FORTH DETAILS IN REGARD THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Town of Vail (the "Town"), in the County of Eagle and State of
Colorado is a home rule municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the laws
of the State of Colorado and the Town Charter (the "Charter");
WHEREAS, the members of the Town Council of the Town (the "Council") have
been duly elected and qualified;
WHEREAS, the Town is currently developing a deed restricted housing
development consisting of 32 for sale townhomes, called the Chamonix Vail Community;
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions
for the Chamonix Vail Community recorded on or about December 19, 2017 (the
"Declaration"), the Town is the Declarant; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Declaration the Declarant must establish an owner's
association pursuant to Colorado law and appoint a board of directors to govern the
association during the period of Declarant Control.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF VAIL, COLORADO THAT:
1. The Council acting as the Declarant for the Chamonix Vail Community
hereby appoints Greg Clifton, Lynne Campbell, and Kathleen Halloran as the
Board of Directors of the CHAMONIX VAIL OWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC., a
Colorado nonprofit corporation.
2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
