THE ANNUAL APFROFRIATION ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING SUMS OF MONEY T4 DEFRAY
EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE TOW~1 OF VAIL, COLORADO, FOR THE TOWl3'S
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1967, AND ENDING ON DECEMBL~R 31, 1967,
WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees iaf the Tt-~ pf Vail has by ordinance
adopted a budget for the Town fox the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1967
and ending December 31, 1967, and;
WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees has by ordinance adopted ader~uate taxing
measures necessary to provide far payment during the Tawn'e saF~~ fiscal
year of all properly authorized demands upon the Treasury, and;
WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees is now desirous of making appropriations
far the ensuing fiscal year.
NOW, TkIEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BX THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF VAIL,
COLORADO.
SECTION 1, That the following appropriations are hereby made for the Town
of Vail, Colorado for the fiscal year beginning 3anuary 1, 1467 and ending on
December 3I, 1467, from the General Fund for the payment of operating expenses
and capital outlay of the general goverrnnent, public safety, public works,
public health and contingencies:
General Government $ 47,465
Police Department 35,225
Public Works Department 18,725
Contingency Fund ~-QQQ
Total General Fund $ ~~

" SECTION 2. That the sum of $24,710 is hereby appropriated to the Public
Improvements Fund far the construction of capital improvements in the Town of
Vail.
SECTION 3. SAFETY CLAUSE
Ttse Board of Trustr~es hereby finds, determines and declares that this
ordinance is necessary and proper to provide far the safety, preserve the health,
promote the prosperity, improve the murals, order, comfort and conveniencQ of the
Town of Vail and the inhabitants thereof.
SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE T7ATE
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect within thirty days
aftex its approval by the Board of Trust~:es and final publication as prescribed
by law.
SECTION 5, SEVER~.BILITY
It is the intention of the Board of Trustees that this ordinance or any
part or provision thereof, shall be considered severable and, if any provision of
this ordinance or the application thereof to any person ar circumstance is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of
the ordinance which can be given affect without the invalid provision of this
ordinance are declared to be severable,
