AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF COMPENSATION
TO THE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF VAIL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
VAIL, COLORADO:
Section 1. Compensation.
The Board of Trustees of the Town of Vail hereby determines
that the Mayor and members of the Board of Trustees shall be entitled
to compensation from the Town of Vail in connection with the performance
of their official duties for and in behalf of this municipality. The compen-
sation for said offices shall be as hereinbelow provided:
Mayor $50.OQ per month
Trustees $30. 40 per month
Section 2, Availability of Funds.
In the event during any month period funds are not available to
pay the full compensation herein provided or in the event that such funds
are not available from budgeted sources to pay the full compensation here-
in provided, then in such event payment shall not be made to the Mayor
and members of the Board of Trustees and such municipal officials sha11
serve without compensation until such time as funds are properly avail-
able .
Section 3. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect within 34 days
after its approval by the Board of Trustees and publication as prescribed
by law, but in no event prior to the date of May 1, 1968.
