AN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAXES FOR THE YEAR 1.969, TO
DEFRAY THE COSTS OF MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF VAIL,
COLORADO FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1,
7.969, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1969.
WHEREAS the Board of Trustees of the Town of Vail,
Colorado, has adopted a budget for the fiscal year beginning
January 1, 1969, and ending December 31, 1969;
AND, WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has determined that
he proper mill levy upon each dollar of the assessed valuation of
11 taxable property within the Town is 5 mi11s.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
THE TOWN OF VAIL, COLORADO;
Section 1: That for the purposes of defraying the
xpenses of the General Fund of Vail, Colorado, during the fiscal
ear beginning on January 1, 1969, and ending on December 31, 1969,
here is hereby levied a tax of 5 mills upon each dollar of the
otal assessed valuation of all taxable property within the Town
f Vail for the year 1969.
Section 2: That the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and
irected to immediately certify to the County Commissioners of
agle County, Colorado, the total tax levy for the Town of Vail,
olorado, as is herein set forth.
INTRODUCED, READ, ADOPTED AND ORDERED PUBLISHED this
7th day of October, 7,968.
