AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE SALE AND TRANSFER OF A
VEHICLE TO VAIL ASSOCIATES, INC., BY THE TOWN OF VAIL;
~ AND SETTING FORTH MATTERS AND DETAILS IN RELATION
THERETO.
WHEREASi the Board of Trustees for the Town of Vail,
Colorado, purchased a Ford Bus on or about March 6, 1970, from
Johnnie Harper Motors, Inc., for purposes of providing public
transportation within the Town of Vail; and
WHEREAS, Vail Associates, lnc., a Colorado corporation,
has fully reimbursed the Town of Vail for the actual cost of said
Ford Bus, in the amount of $7,225.00 with the intention of pur-
chasing said bus; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees for the Town of Vail
has determined that it is no longer in the interest of the Town
or the public generally to provide a bus service, and that said
bus should be sold and conveyed to Vail Associates, Inc., at no
expense to the Town of Vail.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
FOR THE TOWN OF VAIL, COLORADO:
Section 1. That the Town of Vail convey all right,
title and interest in that certain Ford Bus, more particularly
described as follows:
1970 Ford Chassis Cowl B6000
Serial No. B60CVH60029
to Vail Associates, Inc., a Colorado corporation, in consideration
of Vail Associates, Inc., having paid $7,225.00, the full and
complete expense of purchasing said bus to the Town of Vail, so
~ that there remains no cost of any nature to the Town of Vail; and
to transfer title to said vehicle to Vail Associates, Inc.
Section 2. The Board of Trustees hereby empowers the
Mayor and `T'own Clerk to execute and deliver any necessary instru-
ments to convey title to the vehicle herein described to Vail
Associates, Inc., in accordance with the provisions of this
ordinance.
