AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE TOWN OF VAI L
CERTAIN TERRiTCRY SITUATED IN THE SOUTHEAST
QUARTER OF THE 54UTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION
4, THE SOUTH HALF OF SECTION 3, AND THE NORTH-
WEST QUARTER UF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF
SECTION 1p, TOWNSHIP 5 S�UTH, RANGE 80 WEST
OF THE 6TH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, COUNTY OF EAGLE,
STATE OF COLORADQ; ESTABLISHING THE ZONING
FOR SAID TERRITQRY AND AMEN�tNG THE OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP FOR THE TOWN OF VAIL; AND SETTING
FOFFTH �ETAILS IN REL.ATION THERETO.
WHEREAS, a Petition for Annexation of Territory inio the Towr► of
� Vail, Colorado (a municipai corporatiori) nas beer� duly filed with the Town
of Vaii by Vaii Associates, Irc. , a Cotoradb corporation, requesting the
annexation oT cer�ain property into the Town of Vail; and
WHEREAS, al3 of the tere^itory described in said Petition is owned
by Vaii Assoctates, Inc. ,�nd said Petition complies with the provisions
and reguirements of Chapter 139, Article �1 of C.R.S. (1963) as amendet3;

WHE�EAS, the �soard of i rustees of the Town of Vaii finds ti�at
anr�exation of the territory �serein described is necessary and desirable,
and in the besi interests of the Town of Vail, and that said territory should
be annexed into the Town of Vail;
NOW, THEREFCRE, BE iT ORDAINED BY THE B�ARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE TOWN OF VAI L, COLORADO, THAT;
Section 1. The Following described territory, owned by Vail Associates,
Inc. , a Coiorado corporation, be, and the same is hereby annexed to the Town
of Vait, Cotorado:
A parcel of land lying in the Southeast Quarter of t�e Sout�east
Quarter of Section 4, the South Half of Section 3, and the North-
west Q�arter of t�e Northwest Quarter of Sectior� 10, Township
5 South, Range 80 West of t�e 6*h Principal Merictian, County
of Eagle, State of Colorado, anci Iying �outh of Ir�ter=tate High-

Section 2. The territory desc.ribed in this ordinance shall be and the
same is hereby zoned "AgrEcultural," in accordance with the Zoning Qrdinance
oF the Town oF Vail, QRDINANCE NUMBER 7(Series of 1969), as amended,
and is subject to the provisions of same and subject to the •uses for such
"Agricuiturai �istrict" as thereir� set forth; and the o�iciat zoning rnap for
the Town of Va�l shall be arnerxfed to indicate the inclusion of said property
and the zoning o� same as herein provided.
Section 3. The Boar�d of Trustees finds that this ordinance is neces-
sary to preserv�: and perpetuate the welfare of the.Town of Vail; that this
ordinance shalt become effective upon its adoption and publication in accordance
with the laws oF the State of Colorado .
