AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE SUBDIVISION
PLAT AND THE STREETS, ROADS, EASEMENTS
AND PUBLIC WAYS THEREON FOR SUNBURST
AT VATL; APPROVING THE RESUBDIVISION
OF A PORTION OF SUNBURST AT VATL AS
SUNBURST FILING NO. 2 AND THE
RESUBDIVISION OF ANOTHER PORTION OF
SUNBURST AT VAIL AS VATL VALLEY THIRD
FILING; AND SETTING FORTH DETAILS IN
RELATION THERETO
WHEREAS, in August 1973, the Town of Vail Planning
Commission and Town Council approved the Subdivision Plat for
Sunburst at Vail;
WHEREAS, the current owners of the Subdivision -
Sunburst at Vail, First of Denver Mortgage Investors and Vail
Valley, Inc. have requested that the Plat of Sunburst at Vail
be vacated and the area replotted;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the
requested vacation and has recommended approval; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council is of the opinion that the
Plat for Sunburst at Vail. should be vacated including therewith
the Streets, Roads, Easements and Public ~~7ays platted thereon
and subsequent thereto the resubdivision of the lands thereof
as Sunburst Filing No. 2 and Vail Valley Third Filing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWiV OF VAIL, COLORADO, THAT:
(1} The Plat for Sunburst at Vail including the
Streets, Roads, Easements and Public Ways platted thereon are
hereby vacated.
(2) Subsequent to the vacation thereof as specified
in paragraph (1) above, the Town Council hereby approves the
Plat for a portion of said property as Sunburst Filing No. 2
and a portion thereof as Vail Valley Third Filing, in accordance
with the replats submitted to and approved by the Council.

(3) The Town Council accepts the dedications con-
tamed on said Plats for Sunburst Filing No. 2 and Vail Valley
Third Filing.
(~) The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign said
Plats as evidence of the approval and acceptance of the ToYan
Council, and the Town Clerk to attest to his signature.
INTRODUCED, READ ON FIRST READING, APPROVED, AD]D
ORDERED PUBLISHED ONCE IN FULL this 16th day of August, 1977,
and a public hearing on this ordinance shall be held at the
regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Vail,
Colorado, on the 6th day of .September, 1977, at 7:30 P.M. in
the Municipal Building of the Town.
