CLUSTER; LOT 27, BLOCK 2, VAIL VILLAGE
THIRTEENTH FILING, FROM LOW DENSITY
MULTIPLE FAMILY TO F,ESIDENTIAL; A?~1D
LOT 3, BLOCK 9, AND THE SOUTH 1/2 OF
LOT 1, BLOCK 3, BIGHORN THIRD ADDITION,
FROM t~IEDTUI!4 DENSITY MULTIPLE FAMILY
TO AGRICULTURAL; AND AsSEIdDING THE
OFFICIAL ZONTr7G t~P IN RELATION THERETO
Tr1HEREAS, on the Official Zoning Map of the Town of
Vail, Colorado, Lot ~', Block 1, Bighorn Third Addition, is
currently zoned as Low Density Multiple Family; Lot 27, Block
2, Vail Village Thirteenth Filing, as T~O[a Density Multiple
Family; and Lot 3, Block 9, and the South 1/2 of Lat 1, Block 3,
Bighorn Third Addition, as Medium Density Multiple Family-
T~IHEREAS, in accordance with Section 18.66.110 of the
Vail Municipal Code, a~aplica.tions for rezoning have been filed
by Bill Fisher, requesting that Lot 4, Block i, Bighorn Third
Addition, he rezoned to Residential Cluster- by Vail Associates,
Inc., requesting that Lot 27, Block 2, Vail Village Thirteenth
Filing, be rezoned to Residential; and from East Vail Lodging,
requesting that Lot 3, Block 9 and the South 1/2 of Lot 1, Block
3, Bighorn Third Addition, be rezoned to Agricultural-
L^IHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the Town of Vail
has considered the same and recommended approval of said anpli-
cations to the Tawn Council; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council considers that it is in the
public interest to rezone said pro~aerty;
1`dOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAII`dFD BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF VAIL, COLORADO, THAT:
(1) The Council specifically finds that the procedures
for the amendment of the Official Zoning than and rezoning of nra-
perties within the Town of~Vail as prescribed in Section 1$.66.110
of the Vail Municipal Code have been fulfilled, and the Council

hereby receives the report and recommendation of the F1az~ni.nR
Commission recommending the approval of the ap~alications for
rezoning, of the above specified properties.
(2) Pursuant to Section 18.66.160 of the Vail f~iuni-
cipal Code, the following described property is hereby rezoned
from Low Density :~ultiple Family (COME} to Residential Cluster
(RC)
Lot 4, Block 1, Bighorn Third Addition
(3) Pursuant to Section 18.66.160, the following
described property is hereby rezoned from Law Density Multiple
Family (LD;~IF) to Residential (R) :
Lot 27, Block 2, Vail Village Thirteenth
Filing
(4) Pursuant to Section 18.66.160, the following
described property is hereby rezoned from Medium Density Multiple
Family (r4DP1F) to Agricultural (A}
Lot 3, Block 9, and the south 1/2 of
Lot 1, Block 3, Bighorn Third Addition
(5) As provided in Section 18.08.030 of the Vail
Municipal Code, the Zoning Administrator is hereby directed to
promptly modify and amend the Official Zoning Map to indicate
the rezonings specified in paragraphs (2), (3), and (a) above:
(6} This ordinance shall be a ratification of actions
previously taken by the Town Council. The rezoning of Lot a,
Block 1, Bighorn Third Addition, and Lot 27, Block 2, Vail Village
Thirteenth Filing, shall be effective as of the 3rd day of August,
1975, and the rezoning of Lot 3, Block 9, and the South 1/2 of
Lot 1, Block 3, Bighorn Third Addition, shall be effective as of
the 7th day of September, 1976.
INTRODUCED, READ O'~1 ~'TRST READING, APPROVED, AND
ORDERED PUBLISHED ONCE IN FULL, this 17th day of Januar~r, 1978,
and a public hearing on this ordinance shall be held at the
regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Vail,
