AN ORDINANCE REZONING LOT 2, BLOCK 2,
VAIL VILLAGE TWELFTH FILING, FROM LOW
DENSITY MULTIPLE FAMILY TO TWO FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL; AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP IN RELATION THERETO
WHEREAS, on the Official Zoning Map of the Town of
Vail, Colorado, Lot 2, Black 2, Vail Village Twelfth Filing
is currently zoned as Low Density Multiple Family;
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 18.66.110 of the
Vail Municipal Code, aaz application for rezoning has been filed
by Vaii Associates, Inc. requesting that Lot 2, Block 2, Vail
Village Twelfth Filing be rezoned to Two Family Residential;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the Town of Vail
has considered the same and recomr:terded approval of said appli--
cation to the Town Council; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council considers that it is in the
public interest to rezone said property;
NOW, THEREFOP.E, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOT.'dN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF VAIL, COLORADO, THAT:
{1) The Council specifically finds that the procedures
for the amendment of the Official Zoning Map and rezoning of pro-
perties within the Town of Vail as prescribed in Section 18.66.110
of the Vail Municipal Code have been fulfilled, and the Council
hereby receives the report and recommendation of the Planning
Commission recommending the approval of_ the application for
rezoning of the above specified property.
(2} pursuant to Section 18.66.160 of the Vail *4uriicipal
Code, the following described property is hereby rezoned from Low
Density Multiple Family (COME) to Two Family Residential:
Lot 2, Block 2, Vail Village Twelfth Filing
{3} As provided in Section 18.08.030 of the Vail
Municipal Code, the Zoning Administrator is hereby directed to
promptly modify and amend the Official Zoning Map to indicate the
rezoning specified in paragraph (2) above.

ORDERIaD PUBLISHED ONCE IN FULL, this 7th day of February, 1978,
and a public hearing on this ordinance shall be held at the
regular meeting of the Town Council. of the Town of Vail, Colorado,
on the 2lst day of February, l97$, at 7:30 P."~. in the Municipal
Building of the Town.
