AN EPYIERGENCY ORDINANCE DTSCONNECTING
THAT PARCEL OF PROPERTY KNOWFd AS
TRACT A, HIGHLAND MEADOWS; AND
SETTING FORTH DETAILS RELATING
THERETO.
WHEREAS, The Town of Vail recently annexed the area generally
known as West Vail and Intermountain; and
jYHEREAS, a portion of that area occupied by the Streamside
Condominiums was to be excluded from the annexation; and
and,
WHEREAS, a portion of the area to be excluded was included;
WHEREAS, the owner of Tract A, Highland Meadows, has requested
that the portion of the property known as Tract A, Highland Meadows,
be disconnected;
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE T0~~1rN COUNC I L OF THE TOI'~N
OF VAIL, COLORADO, THAT:
{1) The Town Council finds that Tract A, Highland Meadows
should be disconnected from the Town of Vail and the best interests
of the Town will not be prejudiced by such disconnection. Tt is
therefore declared that in accordance with C.R.S. 31-12-503, {1973,
as amended) that Tract A, Highland Meadows, is hereby detached and
disconnected from the Town of Vail.
(2) No taxes or other charges are to be imposed on this
disconnected property.
(3) The Town Clerk is directed to record this ordinance in
accordance with the Statutes of the State of Colorado.
{4} The Council finds that an emergency exists in that
immediate action must be taken far the benefit o:C the public and
the property owner as follows:
(a} Town funds and resources are presently being used
to plan and zone for the area recently annexed, including this

A and the sooner the area is disconnected, the less the public
expenditure will be.
(c) The owner of the property needs to have the status
of Tract A resolved as soon as possible so that the development is
not interfered ry~vitYi.
INTRODUCED, READ AS AN Eh2ERGENCY ORDINANCE, APPROVED, ENACTED
TO TAKE EFFECT UPON FINAL PASSAGE ON THIS DATE, AND ORDERED PUBLISHED
ONCE IN FULL WITHIN TEN DAYS AFTER PASSAGE OPT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE,
this 3rd day of February, 1981.
