WHEREAS, the Town Council is of the opinion that the annual business license fee should be increased from twenty five dollars ($25.} to one hundred dollars {$100.) for increasing revenues to pay the cost of record keeping and other Town services for businesses within the Town af. Vail. NOW, THERIjFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TO~IriV COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF VAIL, COLORADO, THAT: Section 1. Section 5.0.050 of the Vail I~iunicipal Code is repealed and reenacted to read as follows: License fee for the annual business license sha11 be one hundred dollars ($100.) for each License year or portion thereof. The license fee for the annual business license for the year 1981 shall be twenty five dollars ($25.} for each license. The one hundred dollar fee herein provided shall become effective far the business license for the years 1982 and thereafter. Section 2. The repeal. or the repeal and reenactment of any provision of the Vail 14lunicipal Code as provided in this ordinance shall not af.Cect any right which has accrued, any duty imposed, any violation that occurred prior to the effective date hereof, any prosecution commenced, nor any other action or proceeding as commenced under or by virtue of the provision repealed or repealed and reenacted. The repeal of any provision hereby shall not revive any provision or any ordinance previously repealed or superseded unless expressly stated hc,rein. • ~• INTRODUCED, READ ON T'IRST READING, APPROVED, AND ORDERED PUBLISHED ONCE IN FULL THIS 17th DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1.981, and a put~lic hearing on this ordinance shall be held at the regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Vail, Colorado, on the 3rd day of March 1981, at 7:30 P.
