AN (}RDINANCI~ MAKING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS AND BUDGET
ADJ(15'I'MEN'I'S FROM THE TOWN OF VAIL GENERAL FUND, CAPITAL PROJECTS
I~'iJNU, IZEAL~1?S`T'ATE `I~RANSFER TAX FUND, PARKING FUND, I-IOUSING FUND, AND
I.)ISPATCIJ I' IJND, OF TIdE 2000 BUDGET AND THE FINANCIAL PLAN FOR TIIE TOWN
OF VAIL., COI,URADO; AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURES OF SAID
APl'R(}YR1A"PIONS AS SET FORTH HEREIN; AND SETTING FORTH DETAILS IN REGARD

WHEJRBAS, cozrtingencies have arisen during the fiscal year 2000 which could not have
been reasonably #orLSeen or anticipated by the `#"own Council at the tinge it enacted Uxdinance Nu.
25, Series o#• le)99, adopting; the 2000 Budget and liinancial Plan for the Town of Vail, Colorado;
and,
W HIRI~,AS, the Town has received certaizz revenues not budgeted for previously; and,
W1IE1ZlAS, the `l,own Manager has certified to the Town Council that su##icient funds are
available to discharl;e the appropriations referred to herein, not otherwise re#Iected in the Budget,
iu accordance with Section 9.1 U(a) of the Charter of the Town of Vail; and,
WHIaI2EAS, in order to accomplish the foregoing, the Town Council finds that it should make
certain supplc;mental appropriations and budget adjustments as set forth hereitz.
NOW, 7'l-IEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY TkIE TOWN COCINCIL OF THE TOWN
OIL VAII1, CULOIZADO that:
Pursuant to Section 9.10(a) of the Charter of the Town of Vail, Colorado, the Town
(_'ouncil he~rc:by makes the following suppletnezata# appropriations and budget adjustments for the
2000 Budget and I~ financial Plan for the Town of Vail, Colorado, and authorizes the expenditure of

2. 1Pa~zy part, section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase; ofthis ordinance is for any
reason hc;lci to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this
ordinance:; and the `Town Council hereby declares it would have passed this ordinance, and each part,
~ ~ •
section, subsection, sentence, clause ar phrase thereof, regardless of the fact that any one or more
parts, sections, SElbseeti()I]S, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared invalid.
l'he 'Town Council hereby finds, determines, and declares that this ordinance is
iEeccssary and proper for the health, safety, and welfare of the Town of Vail anal the inhabitants
thereul-.
4. `1'he repeal ur the repeal and reenactment of any provision of the Municipal Code of
the 'I'uwi~ ol~ Vail as provided in this ordinance shall not affect any right which has accrued, any duty
imposed, jury violation that occurred prior to the effective date hereof; any prosecution commenced,
our any ether action ur proceedings as commenced under or by virtue of the prevision repealed or
repealed raid reenacted. The repeal of any provision hereby shall not revive any provision or any
c}rdinance: previously repealed or superseded unless expressly stated herein.
5. All bylaws, orders, resolutions, and ordinances, or parts thereof, inconsistent herewith
are repealed to the extend only of such inconsistency. This repealer shall not be construed to revise
airy bylaw, urd~;r, resolutiu~~, ur ordinance, or part thereof; theretofore repealed.
