A RESOLUTION CREATING A CONSERVATION
TRUST FUND FOR THE TOWN OF VAIL.
WHEREAS, the Fifty-Third General Assembly adopted Article 21
of Title 29 C.R.S. 1973 as amended by CV 119 concerning the con-
servation trust fund of municipalities, counties and certain special
districts and which act authorizes the creation of such a fund by
the Town of Vail; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Vail desires to
create such a fund for the health, safety and welfare of present
and future citizens of the Town;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF VAIL, THAT A CONSERVATION TRUST FUND BE AND THE SAME IS
HEREBY CREATED PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 21 OF TITLE 29 C.R.S. 1973
AS AMENDED BY CV 1.19 for the Town of Vail and that monies received
from the State of Colorado to the Town pursuant to said statutes
be deposited in said fund and expended only for the acquisition,
development and maintenance of new conservation sites; and maintenance
of existing sites.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be
certified to the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, Division of
Local Government.
INTRODUCED, READ, APPROVED AND ENACTED this 7th day of December,
1982.
