I know that Mark Herron has submitted a proposal to serve in the Vail Local Marketing District Lodging
Liaison, and I am writing to let you know that I enthusiastically support to his candidacy.
From the moment Mark moved to the Valley as the General Manager for the Four Seasons, he always
demonstrated a very strong and mature leadership, and a community-oriented mind, which has
enriched us all throughout the years.
What has always impressed me the most about Mark is his ability to listen to others and the way how he
embraces new ideas with a candid spirit and a respectful demeanor. No matter what your background
or job title is, Mark has this unique quality of recognizing talent when he sees it.
I think his support to the Town’s Marketing endeavors will be very superb, and they will serve not only
to all of us, but the VLMD members, for he is a wonderful team player.
