The Meeting was called to order by Mayor Dobson at 4:10 P. M.
ROLL CALL: moll Call found the following members present:
Mayor John Dobson
Trustee John Kaenzmer
Trustee J^seph Langmaid
Trustee Richard Bailey
Trustee Thomas Steinberg
.Absent: Trustee John Donovan
Trustee C. E. Kindel
Others present: Messrs. Blake Lynch
I. This meeting called to discuss Unit 1 proposal for design/
fabrication of vehicle and pedestrian signs for Vail. Blake Lynch
reviewed their proposal (attached hereto as Ezi:hibit A) and sug-
gested accepting it, excluding pedestrian signs, on an hourly
basis with a maximum fee of $1, 500. `.trustee Bailey advocated
approporiating $1, 000 for this purpose and having Unit I start on
vehicle traffic signs --excluding pedestrian signs for the time
being. Trustee Steinberg made a motion that we spend up to
$1, 000 on design for vehicle signs only, and reconsider the
proposal at the end of that design phase. Motion was seconded
by Trustee Bailey.
VOTE: Approve above proposal.

Blake Lynch will notify Unit 1 of decision and advise them to begin
work.
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned

used in Nail and grail LiorsHead.

The first phase of development would be the vehicle and
pedestrian traffic signs. The estitrated cost of this phase
is based on the following list of signs. Additional signs could

We would work v,-ith the problem of directories and information
centers and. their coordinationirith the overall graphic
program. A partial estimate iaould be submitted prior to
starting th3_s phase.

This is the final phase in which we would consider the design
and coordination of remaining items such as:
Construction fence
Trash receptacles
Movable sign posts
Shop signs
Posters

All work is bille? at $20.00 per hour for creative and design time.
and $12.50 for production and conference time. Mileage is
billed at 100 per Kle. Meals, film, phone calls, etc. are
billed at cost.
Since there would be an overlapring use of this program, the
cost could be shared by the Town of hail, VAI and VRA.
