MINUTES OF THE MEETING
VAIL BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OCTOBER 14, 1969
Meeting was called to order at 10:00 a. m, by Mayor Dobson in
the Town Municipal Office for purposes of adopting proposed 1970
budget, approving 1970 mill levy for the Town, and to consider
Vail Lion's Head Restaurants, Ines application for liquor license
hearing.
ROLL CALL: Roll call found the following members present:

Trustee John Kaemmer
Blake Lynch
I. Aonroval of Bud et and Mi11 Levv. Trustee Kindel made motion
to adopt proposed 1070 budget and create 1970 mill levy of 5. 75 for
the Town; motion was seconded by Trustee Bailey. One -quarter
mill was transferred from the Town of Vail to the General Improve-
ment District; and 2 mills were transferred from the Water and
Sanitation District to the Town. Last year's mill levy was
This figure of 6. 75 was reduced by one, for a 1970 mill levy of
5.75.
VOTE: Approve mill levy of 5. 75 for 1970 ibr the
Town, and adopt proposed 1970 budget.

1970 mill levy for Town of Vail is 5. 75, and. proposed
1970 budget is hereby adopted.
IL A "lication for Liquor License. Vail Lion's Head Restaurants,
Inc. made application for a liquor license hearing. Mayor Dobson
polled the Trustees for the earliest quorum availability --hearing
date is set for 2:00 p. m. on November 17, 1969, at the Manor Vail
Conference Room.
With no further business to be discussed the meeting adjourned
at 10:40 a. m.

M :eting was called to order at 10:00 a. m.. by Mayor Dobson for
purpose of adopting 1970 budget and approving 1970 mill levy for
the General Improvement District. Meeting was held in the
Town of Vail Municipal Offices.

Also present: Blake Lynch
R. Trustee Kindel made a motion for a levy of 2.25 mills --trans-
ferring .25 mills from the Town to the General Improvement
District; Trustee Bailey seconded. the motion.
VOTE: Approve mill levy of 2. 25 for General Improvement
District, and adopt proposed budget for 1970.
