What follows will reflect motions and actions taken by the Vail Town Council at their regular
work session on August 24, 1999. Everyone was present with the exception of Mike Jewett.
1. Item No. 7, Information Update. Bob Armour, in response to a question that had been
raised about on street food vending in the Village Core, asked the rest of the Council what their
thoughts were about how to resolve the question from Eric Baumann. An informal vote was
taken with Ludwig Kurz, Rob Ford and Bob Armour in support of keeping current legislation in
place, and Mike Arnett and Sybill Navas voting against that motion. Both Sybill and Mike
Arnett indicated they would like to revisit this after the November 2"d election in the hope that
there can be more flexibility provided to merchants in the core areas.
